According to him, “I can say that observance of COVID-19 guidelines in the market has been very effective and everybody is keeping to the rule. I want to advise members to always use their mask whenever they are transacting business or discussing with some people, the mask is not meant for pockets or bags, the mask is meant for the faces so as to avoid contracting or spreading of COVID-19. The wash hand basin is there and also the hand sanitizers are also in strategic places. The temperature testing is at the gate and also at strategic places; we would continue to work with the federal and state government, to make sure we continue to keep all rules and regulation bordering on observance of all COVID-19 rules and regulation”.

Some of the traders who spoke to Business Hilights expressed delight on the leadership system of Chief Okeke on how he has been managing the COVID-19 pandemic in the market and advised other markets to learn from the leadership.
