Just in: Uzodinma makes gender balanced appointments, 4 women, 4 men

Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma has approved the appointments of the seven Special Advisers and one Chief Technical Adviser respectively:

A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary/Media Adviser to the Governor, Oguwike Nwachuku, showed as follows:

  1. Hon. (Mrs) Rubby Emele – Special Adviser, Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs
  1. Hon. (Mrs) Tina Ude – Special Adviser, Sustainable Development Goals and Humanitarian Services
  1. Hon. (Dr.) Bathos Nwadike – Special Adviser, Political
  1. Hon. (Mrs) Pat Ekeji – Special Adviser, Strategy and Development
  1. Hon. Macdonald Ebere – Special Adviser/Managing Director, Environmental Transformation Commission (ENTRACO)
  1. Hon. Innocent Ikpa – Special Adviser/General Manager, Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA)
  1. Hon. Dominic Uzowuru – Special Adviser, Inter-Party Affairs
  1. Amaka Okafor – Special Adviser/Electronic Media
  1. Prof. Henry Njoku – Chief Technical Adviser/Coordinator, Economic Development and Rehabilitation Council

Just as the appointments take immediate effect, Business Hilights recalls that this is the second tranche of political appointments to be made by the Governor, who was returned elected by the January 14, 2020 verdict of the Supreme Court which is being challenged by the sacked Governor Emeka Ihedioha.
