Just in: FG unveils Nigeria Air, logo at Farnborough Airshow in London
The federal government today, Wednesday July 18, 2018, at the ongoing Farnborough Airshow in London, put paid to its earlier promise and lunched new Nigerian air carrier to be known and addressed as ‘Nigeria Air’.
No reason was given for not naming the fleet Nigerian Airways, the name of the defunct national air carrier.
The unveiling was done by the Minister of State, Aviation, Hadi Sirika, who not only showed of the new name of the nation’s carrier but also the logo.
The Federal Government on the @asorock handle revealed the choice of Farnborough for the unveiling, “Farnborough is one of the biggest Airshows in the world, where decision makers and industry experts gather every two years to do business. The new National Carrier will bring Nigeria closer to the world”
