Just in: COVID-19 kills one in Ghana as confirmed cases hit 21

11 days into the first confirmed case of COVID-19 infection in Ghana via import from Europe, a 61 year-old male patient has passed on.

The border closure, according to the President, would last for the first two weeks.

Business Hilights Ghana Bureau Chief reports that the local Parliament Friday relied on Certificate of Urgency to pass the Imposition of Restrictions Bill, 2020, thus giving legal backing for the imposition of restrictions on persons in the event of disaster, emergency or similar circumstances, for public safety and protection.
