Ihedioha visits Dangote, discusses fresh investment flow to Imo

Imo State Governor, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, Wednesday, paid Africa’s richest investor and chairman of Dangote Group, Mr Aliko Dangote, a courtesy visit in his office in Lagos.

Business Hilights gathered that the billionaire industrial icon received Governor Ihedioha at the Dangote Group Corporate Head Office located at Union Marble House, Ikoyi, in Lagos.

The two also held discussions on strategic areas of investment and partnership between the Group and Imo State Government.

Recall that Dangote Group is a multinational industrial conglomerate founded by Mr Aliko Dangote. It is the largest conglomerate in West Africa and one of the largest on the African continent. The group employs more than 30,000 people, and generates revenue of over $4.1billion.

Though details of their discussions behind closed door were not immediately made public, visiting Governor Ihedioha was received in the company of Prof. Peter Tufano, the Dean of the Säid Business School of the University of Oxford; Mr Frank Aigbogun, the Publisher of BusinessDay; Mr Fidelis Anosike, the Publisher of Daily Times Nigeria and Barr. Chima Nwana, the Deputy Chief of Staff to Imo State Government, amongst others.
