Ecobank redefines excellence in service delivery, opens lounge in P/Harcourt
As part of drive to deepen service delivery to premier customers, Ecobank Nigeria has opened a state-of-the-art banking lounge in Port Harcourt for the South South region of the country.
Group Head of Personal Banking, Olukorede Demola–Adeniyi, said the banks’ initiative to open lounges for this segment of customers is in line with its conscious and deliberate efforts to redefine excellence in banking service delivery.
Christened ‘Port Harcourt Premier Banking Lounge’, the facility is designed to match lifestyle, and boasts of self-service digital booths and private meeting rooms where customers can meet with their relationship managers or hold private meetings.
According to Demola–Adeniyi, “the bank’s initiative to open lounges for this segment of customers is in line with its conscious and deliberate efforts to redefine excellence in banking service delivery”.
“This lounge is specifically targeted at our Premier Banking customers, who constitute the high net worth individuals within our customer base. We recognise that our Premier Banking customers are busy individuals with peculiar lifestyle needs, and therefore decided to tailor our offering to suit them. This lounge offers our customers world-class standards, which is what they deserve to have,” Demola–Adeniyi said.
Earlier in her remarks, Head of Premier Banking, Mrs. Rita Etomi Ademola, on the segment’s offerings for premier banking customers, said took the guests through the various products, one of which is its current account that comes with a Platinum MasterCard.
She noted that the Platinum MasterCard “is accepted outside the country, available in both local and foreign currencies, has state-of-the-art security features, and can be replaced within 48 hours.”
“The card, in contrast with other debit cards, has a higher daily spending limit for withdrawals and purchase transactions, which, upon request, can be increased within minutes.
“Card holders also enjoy exclusive preferential services and discounts with various lifestyle partners across the globe.”
Business Hilights recalls that the bank recently recovered a sizable amount of the nonperforming loans owed by some customers recently which helped to up its financials.
