…As Okorocha begins unceremonious relocation to Jos after 8 years in Imo

All is set for return of good governance and development in Imo State following the declaration of former Speaker of the Federal House of Representative, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha as the Governor-elect in the just concluded governorship election.
In line with his seamless takeover of leadership, the 139-man Transition Technical Committee will be inaugurated today by noon at the Rockview Hotel, Owerri, the state capital.
Besides, there are credible reports that the State Governor, Rochas Okorocha whose son-in-law lost his bid to succeed him, may have started gradual but unceremonious relocation of his belongings away from the Government House to his palatial Spibat Estate in Amakohia, Owerri, ahead of onward exile to Jos, the Plateau State capital from where he returned to run for Imo governorship in 2011.
A statement signed by his media aide, Chibuike Onyeukwu, revealed that Prof Ernest Ebi, former deputy governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) will serve as Chairman while Dr Chinedu Okpareke, will serve as chief scribe.
Recall that young Dr. Okpareke, a world class technocrat, was pioneer Director General of Imo State Investment Promotion Agency (ISIPA) and has earned his reputation in development planning and growth economics.
For division of labour so as to achieve desired results, the committee is divided into 12 sub-committees including Projects and Review, Finance Review and Funding Initiative, Integrated Infrastructure, Human Capital Development, Good Governance, Agriculture, Commerce and Industries, Job and Wealth Creation, Tourism and Hospitality, Talents and Opportunities, Security, Diaspora Initiatives and Owerri Town Planning.
Recall that Ihedioha had made it clear on Monday that members of committee who were carefully selected, were made up of men and women of high integrity, who are committed to the actualisation of the task of rebuilding Imo State.

The Committee Members are as follows:
Dr. Ernest Ebi, Chairman
