Domestic flights in Nigeria resume from Lagos, Abuja next Wednesday—Minister

The Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika has announced that in compliance to new operational guide developed in view of Covid-19 precautions, domestic flights will resume from Wednesday, July 8, 2020 with only Lagos and Abuja.

According to tweets followed from his verified handle, Kano, Port Harcourt, Owerri and Maiduguri airports would resume on the July 11 while other airports would follow on July 15.

He however noted resumption date for international flights would soon be announced, saying “I am glad to announce that Abuja and Lagos airports will resume domestic operations on July 8, 2020.

Kano, Port Harcourt, Owerri and Maiduguri to resume on the 11th. Other airports on the 15th. Date for international to be announced in due course,” he tweeted.
