Dangote Group sets fresh record, inducted into Global Executive Council of PMI
Most capitalised African conglomerate and largest continental private business group of companies, Dangote Group has been inducted into the Global Executive Council of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
By the feat, the group has become the first African business organisation to become a member of the institute.
Besides, the induction into the PMI Council is a demonstration of the confidence that Dangote Industries Limited is a value-adding company.
Business Hilights gathered that Dangote Group will now be exchanging ideas and business intelligence with over 80 other global businesses and organisations such as AB Volvo, Airbus, Ali Baba Group, Bank of England, BHP, Amazon, ABB, Boeing and Bosch Group, among others.
Reacting, elated Group Executive Director, Capital Projects of Dangote Industries Limited, Mr Devakumar Edwin, assured unflinching commitment of the company to participating as a part of the PMI Global Executive council.
PMI has remained one of the world’s largest not-for-profit membership associations for the project management profession with over 500,000 members and over 1,500,000 certification holders.
Additional details on the activities of MPI revealed that the body had led the work of project management advocacy for over 50 years and worked closely with several multinational companies.
