Agbazuere assumes office as CoS to the Gov., assures service delivery to Abians

Following his Tuesday’s appointment as the Chief of Staff to Abia State Governor, Dr. ACB Agbazuere Wednesday assumed duties, assuring Abians of working for the realization of good governance and Abia dreams of the Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu.

In an exclusive telephone interview with Business Hilights Wednesday, Dr Agbazuere averred that “I will work to impress the Governor, Abia people and God Almighty”.

“I assure Abian that I will continue to make my marks just like the last place I worked before the appointment as the Chief of Staff to the Governor.

The new Chief of Staff further assured that “Workers interest and the interest of Abia in general will not be toyed with under my watch as CoS”.

Dr Agbazuere also assured that he will tailor his efforts towards making Abians and Nigerians to know more of the leadership ingenuity of Governor Ikpeazu.

It would be recalled that new COS was until the new appointment, the General Manager of the Abia State Passenger Insurance Manifest and Safety Scheme (ASPIMSS).

Dr Agbazuere is also, a former Chairman of the Abia State Chapter of the Nigeria Labor Congress (NLC), a former elected Executive Chairman of Isiala Ngwa South LGA and a former Commissioner for Information and Strategy. He is also the publisher of a national daily, The Diamond Newspapers.

He holds a Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate Degrees in Law and runs a human right advocate and legal services organization.

Also assuming duties on Wednesday, is Barrister Eze Chikamnayo, who was equally appointed same time by the Governor as his new Special Adviser on Strategy and Communications.

Eze Chikamnayo is a former Commissioner for Information in the State.

A statement issued Tuesday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Onyebuchi Ememanka, made it clear that both appointments take immediate effect.
