The PDP Campaign Council of Prof. A.C.B Agbazuere for Isiala Ngwa North/South Federal Constituency has been inaugurated ahead of next year’s general elections with a charge to actualize total victory for the party.
Inaugurating the Campaign Council at Prof. Agbazuere’s countryhome, Ikem Nvosi in Isiala Ngwa South LGA, the PDP gubernatorial candidate in the state, Prof. Uche Ikonne charged the council to approach the forthcoming elections with the seriousness it deserves.
Prof. Ikonne while promising to provide a veritable platform that will enhance human capital development and more democracy dividends to Abians if elected Governor, also commended Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for the credible way he has managed the affairs of the state and promised to improve and consolidate on the achievements recorded by the present administration.
Contributing, the state PDP Chairman, Chief Alwell Asiforo Okere represented by the state PDP Youth Leader, Chief Patrick Onwuka, Chairman of Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Elder Chinwendu Ochulor, his Isiala Ngwa South LGA counterpart, Chief Ike Anyatonwu, PDP Chairman, Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Elder Sam Esindu and PDP Chairman, Isiala Ngwa South LGA, Sir Edwin Ihejirika reminded the council that they were carefully selected based on their pedigree hence the need for them to make commitment, focus and honesty their watchword in their bid to actualizing a landslide victory for Prof. Ikonne, Prof. Agbazuere and all PDP candidates.
Earlier in his address, the PDP flag bearer for Isiala Ngwa North/South Federal Constituency, Prof. A.C.B Agbazuere while assuring his constituents of quality representation when elected also charged his Campaign Council to be at the forefront of leading campaigns in their various LGA’s, Wards and Unit’s.
Prof. Agbazuere further pledged his full support to the council with necessary logistics to make their job easier and assured the party of total victory in next year’s elections.
In their remarks, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Chief Okey Ahiwe, the PDP candidate for Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency, Chief Ugochukwu Iheonunekwu, his Isiala Ngwa South LGA counterpart, Chief Chinwendu Rowland, Dr Chike Nwannunu, Sir Udo Nwogwugwu among others while noting that the PDP remains the party to beat considering the array of credible candidates it parades also stressed the need for adequate sensitization of the electorate especially those at the grassroot on the dangers of selective voting.
PDP Stakeholders and leaders in Isiala Ngwa North/South LGA’s, members of Isiala Ngwa North/South Legislative Councils, PDP Pro-Groups among other notable personalities were present during the inauguration.
