Know Nigeria’s new Deputy CBN Governor designate; Kingsley Isitua Obiora
Kingsley Isitua Obiora, ever since rising to professional stardom, has been a serial record-breaker who has just been appointed Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN)s deputy governor, by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Whereas his appointment is waiting for the National Assembly ratification, it is important to note that before now, he has been part of the day-to-day running of one of the world’s biggest international lenders, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and at the same time representing 23 African countries at the Bretton Woods institution.
He sides, ahead of the latest appointment, Obiora had been playing the critical role of advising President Buhari and the CBN Governor, Mr Godwin Emefiele.
