On behalf of Isi Ihiitte Owerri Autonomous Community, I, HRH Eze Amb. Damian Emeka Obiangwe KSM, Ezeoha, Obi of Isi Ihiitte Owerri Ancient Kingdom most heartily congratulate His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, and the entire people of Imo State on the historic occasion of the 50th anniversary of the creation of our dear Imo State.
Indeed, this golden jubilee anniversary celebration showcases our blessings, rich endowments, legacy of courage, culture, enterprise and resilience. In these past five decades, Imo State has distinguished itself as a land of peace, unity, and limitless potential, producing men and women who have made remarkable contributions to the growth and development of Imo State, Nigeria and the world.
I commend successive generations of Imolites whose sacrifices laid the foundation of the State, and I salute the present leadership of His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma for its commitment to good governance, development, and the preservation of the Imo spirit of enterprise and excellence. It is my hope that this milestone will rekindle your pragmatic resolve towards unity, sustainable development, justice, and prosperity for all Imolites.
As Imo State marks fifty years of purposeful existence, we pray for greater peace, visionary leadership, and renewed progress in the years ahead.
