As part of official activities to celebrate the 50 years of Imo State in Nigeria, the State Government under Governor Hope Uzodimma, has classified few distinguished Imolites for special State Honours recognition.
Whereas the State’s highest honours; GRAND SERVICE STAR OF IMO STATE (GSSI) was given to all former governors and current, the second highest honours; DISTINGUISHED STAR OF IMO STATE (DSI), was given to key national figures of Imo origin including Chairman of Zinox Group, Dr. Leo Stan Ekeh, former IGP, Mike Okiro, Dr. Walter Ofonagoro, Dr. Kema Chikwe, Prof. Maurice Iwu and others.

ART & CULTURE STAR OF IMO STATE (ACSI)
STAR OF INNOVATION AWARD (SIA)
STAR OF YOUTH LEADERSHIP (SYL)
