Hon. Kenechukwu Obidigbo, Chairman, Rivers Cluster, BBA/ICC, Lagos International Trade Fair Complex.
Good leaders make followers happy and raise their confidence even in the face challenges everywhere in the world.
This is exactly what is playing out in Rivers Cluster at the Balogun Business Association (BBA/ICC), Lagos International Trade Fair Complex.
During a recent tour of the cluster by Business Hilights team of editors, findings and momentary chats with business operators in the cluster attest to the fact that the current administration of Hon. Kenechukwu Obidigbo and his Executive have changed the hitherto cries of the members to rising joy considering series of rare reforms he has introduced in the cluster.

Speaking to our correspondent, Hon. Obidigbo revealed that “When I was elected into office with my team of Executives, we said amongst ourselves that we are going to better the lots the cluster by delivering selfless service and that is what we are doing since we were sworn in.
If you look around, you will see that we have constructed about six iron steps to effectively make it seamless for anybody to climb upstairs from every angle of the cluster without going to be turning around and around. This is a strategic ease of doing business delivered by my leadership in Rivers Cluster.

“We have also zinced every inside open spaces within the cluster to serve as a permanent cover for good and people both in the sun or rains. Issues of rain water disrupting businesses in Rivers Cluster is gone. In fact, if you are in our cluster and rain starts, you will not feel because no drop of rain or sunlihgt will touch you unless you step out of the cluster clovered. This is an innovation I saw in a cluster market when I travelled abroad and my people so much loved it because it came with some transparent pans for inlet of light. I was the first of its kind throughout Trade Fair complex and we did it with tall iron pipes upon which the zinc was suspended very much high above the height of the cluster buildings for better ventilation and airation.

Hon. Obidigbo revealed that his Excos have concluded plans to even install large screen TV sets and industrial fans inside the covered open spaces to spice up living and business hours in Rivers Cluster.
We have our massive standby generating set and that is the secret of calmness everywhere in the cluster even during the busiest hours of the day.
Continuing, Rivers Cluster revealed that “it is easy for my Eco to achieve all these milestones because we built our administration on trust and financial discipline.

You can go round and find out; we have not levied anyone for all these projects because we manage our properties for the interest of everyone.
Another important point is that we have not sold any of our property since we came into government.
Another secret of our success story is that my Excos are driven by unity of purpose and we are always working with the main government in BBA/ICC to move the entire ICC forward. That is why our Exco is at peace with the BBA/ICC government.
Our President, Chief Oscar Odogwu is doing well in the market and we supporting his government by way of raising ease of doing business in Rivers Cluster.
