The management of the Imo State Internal revenue Service (IIRS) has come up with simple way to file in annual tax returns in the state.
Hereunder is the steps:
Type the link on your browser
https://iirs.fenixrms.com or the main portal at https://www.imostate.tax, register and log in
- From the dashboard, select Assessment Menu
→ PAYE Annual Filing.
Download the Annual Filing Template.(Form D), fill it out and save on your device.

- Go back to the portal and click New PAYE Filing.
- Input your IMSSBN and it will call up your organisations’ name, if not stop and recheck your IMSSBN.
- Choose the year you are filing for, which should be 2025. This is important.
- Input the total Gross (sum total of all gross salaries paid to staff members)
- Input the remitted tax (which should match with the amount on the receipt.)
- Upload the completed template form D you downloaded and filled out earlier.
- Click Submit
You will be notified that you have submitted your 2025 PAYE filing, that it is awaiting approval. Once approved by an IIRS Staff (if the details filled in and declared are okay) you will be notified to download your certificate.
