The new face of Obinugwu Primary Scholl reconstrcuted and donated by Prince Uzoma Valentine Ilomuanya to his community, Obinugwu autonomous community, Orlu LGA of Imo State
All is set for the official handing over of reconstructed classroom blocks at Obinugwu Primary School, Orlu LGA of Imo State, to the government. The scholl was singlehandedly rebuild and donated by an illustrious son of the community, Prince Uzoma Valentine Ilomuanya, the younger brother of the traditional ruler of the community, HRM, Eze CI Ilomuanya, Obi of Obinugwu.

The new facility will be handed over to the Imo State Government through the Commissioner for Education, Professor Bernard Ikegwuoha, tomorrow Friday, January 30th , 2026.

Other top officials that will grace the occasion included the chairman of Orlu LGA, Hon. Pastor Christian Okechukwu Mbarie, Eze Ilomuanya and other dignitaries in the State Primary Education Board.
Briefing the publisher of Business Hilights, Prince Stan Okenwa in a telephone interview on Thursday, the donor’s immediate younger brother and Honourable Councilor representing Ihiteowerri Ward in Orlu LGA, Prince Azubuike Ilomuanya explained that the donor is a very simple man that loves giving back to the society noiselessly.

Giving further insights on the scope of the reconstruction work done by his brother, Hon. Ilomuanya revealed that before the reconstruction activities, the entire school block was in sorry state, but in his love for better learning environment for his community, he sort and got approval from the State Government for the total reconstruction of the school.

“The reconstructed School block is furnished and fitted with ceiling fans and Air Conditioners in the classrooms. There is a new borehole for clean water supply and modern toilet system fitted with tiles. He provided brand new generating set to deliver stable electricity during school hours.
“The classroom is also laced with modern white boards that enable markers and every class room is ventilated with glass and secured with iron doors and befitting painting that entices learning.
Hon. Ilomuanya described his brother, the donor as a simple man that is very hard to be noticed due to his chosen quiet lifestyle from childhood.
