Air Peace B 777 alive again in the sky

This is arguably one of Air Peace’s biggest achievements so far this year. One of the airline’s wide-body aircraft, grounded for nearly three years, has finally returned to the skies.
The Boeing 777-300, registration 5N-BUU, had been out of service due to technical issues. Its last flight before grounding was on January 16, 2023, operating from Johannesburg to Lagos.
After years of painstaking work, Air Peace’s Engineering Team successfully restored the “big bird” to airworthiness. This aircraft becomes the second B777-300 to return to service after a prolonged grounding and is now back as an active revenue aircraft.
With the return of 5N-BUU, Air Peace’s Boeing 777 fleet now stands at four aircraft.
