…Remains Open Year Round
To my respectful members of Nigerian Association of Tyre Marketers (NATM), owners of Africa Tyre Village (ATV), I wish you a very happy new year and I pray that this year, 2026 will be better for us in the name of God.
We are a little bit different from others in the complex due to the fact that our business is all year round.
Otherwise, we don’t close at all. So just like the other years, we did not close at all too.
Our market was opened throughout the holidays and we are operating and doing our businesses comfortably.
Here, businesses are going on, loading and off-loading were going on and there was no threat to security.
On my new year message to our members, now I want to advise us to please keep on doing what you are doing. Keep on being disciplined, keep on being obedient and accommodating and keep on loving one another.
As you know, 2026 is our election year. There is going to be a lot of activities this year by the grace of God. June this year, the current administration will be winding down. We will be having our election this year; voting into offices new executives. So, I want to advise us to keep on maintaining peace, to keep on believing in ourselves and believing God and also believing in the country and our union will continue to be progressing.

We will continue to make progress by the special grace of God. I want to tell us that on new national tax system introduced by government, our administration will be bringing in tax experts to come and educate us on critical issues and also advise us on how to run it and comply safely. Please, do the right thing in Africa Tyre Village and I want to assure you that we have our consultants that will attend to individual members on tax matters.
So if you face any challenge on tax matters, they will attend to you. Feel free to contact us. We will make the services available to you through our consultants who will put you through.
My government will continue to protect your interest. As par the issue of Lagos state government with all the associations, we are on the same page with every other association in this complex and especially with the management of trade fair complex. So, whatever it is we will do it together. We will not be an island.
I want to pray again that God will continue to protect all of us at their villages and also lead everyone back to Lagos safely to join us in business. God will continue to guide and continue to bless you.
Thank you and happy New Year.
