The leadership of Ihiteowerri Ward Stakeholders Forum (IWSF) was amongst top leading groups that paid homage to the monarch of Isi-Ihiteowerri, Orlu LGA of Imo State, HRM, Eze Dr. Damian Emeka Obianigwe on his 2025 Ofala/Coronation anniversary held at his Palace on Tuesday, December 30th, 2025.
Presenting the gift of wines and portrait crafted with wall-clock, the leader delegation and Councilor representing the Ward in Orlu LGA, Prince Azubike Ilomuanya, said IWSF is a pressure group whose members are men and women of the four autonomous communities that made up the Ward which included Ihiteowerri, Amanator-Ihiteowerri, Obinugwu and Isi-Ihiteowerri, the community of the monarch.
The delegates included the Coordinator of IWSF, Chief Ezeikpe Emejuru, Chairman of the Event Committee of IWSF, Hon. Chijioke Esighasi (CJ) and Secretary, Hon. Prince Stan Okenwa and other stakeholders present during the homage session of the anniversary.
Making his remarks, the Coordinator of IWSF, Chief Ezeikpe Emejuru thanked the monarch for his exemplary roles and development activities in the Ward especially in restoring security of lives and property and driving community development with passion over time in the communities.
Responding, His Majesty expressed happiness on our homage and first of all thanked us for even mounting two beautiful banners for his anniversary which he said, served as the first public notice to his anniversary before his organizing committee placed their own.
The chairman of the Event Committee of IWSF, Hon. Chijioke Esighasi (CJ) in an interview after the homage with Business Hilights, said “We are happy that IWSF has come to stay considering the high success we recorded today at the homage and presentation of gift items to His Highness. The very next important thing to do by the Forum will be to continue to raise the morale of our members in IWSF to always be conscious of political developments and activities in the four communities. It is also important to encourage fellow stakeholders to always work towards the betterment of our communities by working to attract and draw development projects from any available government agency, parastatal and ministry so that our Ward can grow and become better.
Continuing, Hon. Esighasi enjoined members to remove fears and see every discussion in the platform as efforts to drive the development process of our four communities and not to shutdown anyone or community.
The anniversary was graced by the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, who at the Church Service at Saint Martin’s Catholic Church, assured the citizens that the intractable insecurity bedeviling the state has gone and peace and stability have taken full swing in all parts of Orlu including Ihiteowerri ward and environs. He raised the happiness of parishioners when he announced a donation of N20m to the church.
Other state dignitaries at the anniversary included the Chairman of Imo State Council of Traditional Rulers, HRM, Eze Okeke, the Chairman of Orlu Council of Traditional Rulers, Eze Sampson Okwudinma, Eze C I Ilomuanya and other business moguls and captains of industry including the chairman of Imo State Internal Revenue Service (IIRS), Mr. Justice Okoye, FCA, Chief Jerry Alagbaso and others.
As part of the monarch’s activities at the event, he conferred some distinguished personalities with several titles. Dr. Emmanuel Adejo was conferred with Enyioha 1, Chief Mrs. Ifeoma Obiagwu as 0sodieme 1, Chief Anderson Obiagwu as Akaekpuchionwa 1, Chief Ugonna Henry Orabuchi as Ikenga 1, Chief Livinus Ndubuisi Ohia as Chukwubuteuzo 1, Chief Mrs. Chiaka Ndi Ben-Obi as Adadioranma 1, Chief Nnadi Edwin Maduabuchukwu as Uzonnadiocha 1, and Dr. Charles Ozoeme Dimnwaobi.
