It was the gathering of the saints as the Mandilas United Traders Association (MUTA), owners of Mandilas International Trade Centre (MITC), Lagos International Trade Fair complex came to God in thanksgiving on Tuesday, December 2nd to mark the end of the 2025 business year.

The event powered by the Mandilas Central Fellowship, came with the theme; ‘Let The Living Praise The Lord’ and took off with an opening prayers from the Assistant Secretary, Mrs. Tonia and a follow up gospel by the chairman, Mr. Chijioke.

This was followed by the unveiling of the brand new musical set procured by the association in worship of God by the Chairman of Board of Trustees (BoT), Chief Onuorah Ebeledike.

Before cutting the tape, Chief Ebeledike prayed for all that contributed to the purchase of the instrument and called on God to replenish members abundantly in their respective businesses.
Ahead of the unveiling of the musical instruments, key speakers that had prayed and sang praises to God as part of the thanksgiving included the Vice president, Dicken Jude Edeh, Pastor Anyi-Moore before making way for the leader of the MUTA Fellowship, Bishop Uwem James.

In his sermon, the clergy hailed the resilient of MUTA members in worshipping God and looking onto Jesus at all times.

He took MUTA members down the 2025 memory lane and revealed within the period under review, there was nothing like fire, market crisis of any sort, violent disruptions or events of regrets in the market.

He used the preaching period to remind MUTA members of the goodness of God to all of them during the year under review, and called on them to raise their closeness to God come 2026 for more blessings in their businesses.
In his presidential address, the Chief Servant of MUTA and president, Evang Dr. Emmanuel Goodnews Ezeani thanked God for his love and support for MUTA and further hailed the resolute steadfastness of MUTA members in 2025.
While praying for the association for God’s upliftment in business, he called on a set of men of God, who brandished powerful anointing and ministrations which thundered around the market as everybody momentarily keyed into the massive prayers and worship throughout the ceremony till the event come to a close.

The President also conducted special prayers for the market alongside other men of God who delivered on different prayer points before he personally prayed massively for member who are believing God for the fruit of the womb and for the general progress of everyone come next year’s business season.
He thanked God for smooth business activities in 2025 and handed 2026 over to God for a better business experience for all members.
Coming to a close, announcement was made by Evang Uche, the Assistant Coordinator and followed by benediction/closing prayers by Pastor Anyi-Law (founder Minister).
Everyone went back to his or her shop which were under lock and keys during the thanksgiving period.

Majority of MUTA members who spoke to Business Hilights on their experiences during the thanksgiving said the anointing they received was very powerful and will guide them in their businesses going forward.
Former and immediate past president of the association, Chief Dr. Tony Amaechi Okeke attended the thanksgiving alongside other top personalities in the association.
