Nigeria’s leading financial powerhouse, Access Bank has inaugurated its new and imposing regional headquarters in Owerri, the Imo State capital. In company of top officials of the bank, Governor Hope Uzodimma presided over the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new facility, located directly behind the State House of Assembly complex.
The event drew a gathering of state officials, business figures, and banking executives, all witnessing a development poised to add the local economic landscape.
Strategically situated near the seat of the state’s legislature, the hub is designed to act as a central nerve for commercial activity, investment flows, and advanced digital banking services aross the state and South East at large.
Financial experts at the unveiling confided in Business Hilights that while while Access Bank already maintains a network within the city, the upgraded regional office aims to attract larger corporate partnerships and fuel entrepreneurial growth across the state.
In his address, while cutting the ribbon, Governor Uzodimma outlined the critical role the bank is expected to play in financing key sectors such as oil and gas, agriculture, tourism, and renewable energy.
