Vice Chancellor of Abia State University, Professor Ndukwe James Okeudo
The Governing Council’s ratification of the Abia State University (ABSU), Uturu, is highly being awaited following the successful election of two new Deputy Vice Chancellors for the school.
The Senate of the University had at its recent 284th Regular Meeting, elected Professor Gazie Okpara as the new Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) and Professor Roseline Ndimele as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration).

Business Hilights South East Bureau Chief gathered that the election followed a unanimous vote by Senate members after other nominees Professor Friday Eboh for DVC Academic, and Professor Amanze Unagha for DVC Administration graciously stepped down, thus paving the way for the emergence of the newly elected Deputy Vice-Chancellors.
In the same vein, the Senate approved the appointment of Professor Osita Ugbogu as the new Dean, School of Postgraduate Studies.
