B’Odogwu Pushes up Tincan Customs Command Revenue to ₦154.3bn in October

Following the seamless adoption of the Unified Customs Management System, codenamed the B’Odogwu software platform by many of the Commands of the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS), there had been rising testimonies of higher revenue generation.

This same B’Odogwu testimony has played out at the Tin Can Island Port Command under the leadership of Comptroller Frank Okechukwu Onyeka as the Command has declared the sum of ₦154.3bn as its total revenue generation in the month of October.

In a statement made available to Business Hilights in Lagos by the PRO of the Command, Chief Superintendent of Customs, Oscar Ivara shows October 2025 as the second highest revenue generation of the Command since the adoption of B’Odogwu. The Command raked in a total of ₦154,384,834,050.93k, only

During one of his media conferences, Comptroller Onyeka had told media chiefs that the successful deployment of the indigenous B’Odogwu trade platform has “significantly improved trade facilitation and enhanced revenue performance.” This is as he recalled that the Command had recorded its highest monthly revenue collection ever in August 2025, which stood at ₦159 billion.

While praising the commitment of his officers on the feat so far achieved, he also commended stakeholders for contributing to the achievement and further linked the overall progress to the strict adherence to the directives of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi on trade facilitation and national security.
