The Executives and members of one of the leading business associations at the Lagos International Trade Fair Complex on Badagry Expressway, the Mandilas United Traders Association (MUTA), owners of the Mandilas International Trade Centre (MITC), yesterday, Friday visited two major homes for the less-privileged in Lagos State and gifted them with several gift items.
Business Hilights reports that the two visited homes included Beautiful Gate Home, centre for orphans, destitutes and children with autism at 7, Daniel Street, Iyana School, Iba New Site and SO-SAID Charity Home on 58, Ibro Way, Hosanna Estate, Ago Palace Way, Okota, Lagos.
Addressing the managers of Beautiful Gate Home in Iba, the President of MUTA, Evg. CSP Emmanuel Ezeani explained that his associated contributed and came with several life supporting items including food items, clothing and toiletries as part of their giving back to the society.
During the handing over of the gift items, the managers prayed for MUTA members for their visit and asked God to increase their businesses.
From the Beautiful Gate Home in Iyana-Iba, MUTA convoy moved to SO-SAID Charity Homes, Ago Palace Way and delivered gift items including foods, bags of rice, toiletries, detergents, cash and other items.
Earlier before the presidential address, the proprietor of the Home, Felicia Titi Martins explained that SO-SAID Charity Home has 13 branches nationwide and has been caring for the less-privileged for the past 20 years in Nigeria.
Addressing the inmates, President of MUTA, Evng. CSP Emmanuel Ezeani lifted their spirits by making them realise that God is aware of their existence and that is why God always make people and associations like MTUA to always visit them with gifts to give them sense of belonging.
Madam Titi Martins conducted MUTA members round the facilities of the Home including their upcoming school building, fish farm and others.
In his concluding prayers for the successful visitation to two less-priviledged homes in the state, the Coordinator of MUTA Prayers/Worship Fellowship, Bishop Uwem James thanked God for journey mercies and prayed that God in his infinte mercy, shall bless MUTA members with prosperity and good health in their businesses and families.
Speaking in an interview, BoT Chairman of MUTA, Chief Onuora Ebeledike said their coming was to give back to the society and further encourage them that MUTA cares for them.
BoT chairman’s views was corroborated by the President, who noted that it has been the custom of MUTA to always visit homes of less privileged Nigerians to share out good will and also give them sense of belonging and encouragements.
