Gov. Alex Otti commissioning new roads in Abia State recently
The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, has commissioned 14 new roads constructed under his administration as part of efforts to enhance infrastructure and ease transportation within the state.
The roads commissioned include:
- Umuode Road
- Bakassi Road
- Isu Ihiteukwa Street
- Asa Road
- Enyimba Junction–Ariaria Gate Road
- Rehabilitated Market Road (from Asa Road to Eziukwu Road, Aba)
- Tenant Road (from Asa Road to Eziukwu Road)
- Cameroun Road (from Asa Road to Eziukwu Road)
- Ehi Road (from Queens Road to Eziukwu Road)
- Clifford Road (from Asa Road to Eziukwu Road)
- School Road (from Asa Road to Railway Crossing)
- Afikpo Road (from Eziukwu Road to School Road axis)
- Reconstructed Afikpo Road to School Road
Four of these roads — Umuode Road, Bakassi Road, Isu Ihiteukwa Street, Asa Road, and the Enyimba Junction–Ariaria Gate Road were executed by the Greater Aba Development Authority (GADA), an agency established to drive the urban renewal and infrastructural transformation agenda of the Otti administration.
Nnewi Celebrates Monarch, Igwe Orizu III at 100 years
It was celebration galore for Nnewi Ancient Kingdom in Anambra State as they gathered to pray for their monarch, His Royal Highness, Igwe Dr. Kenneth Onyeneke Orizu III,who turned 100 recently.
