The executives and members of leading business group in Lagos International Trade Fair Complex, the Association of Progressive Traders (APT), has congratulated the ED/CEO of the complex, Erelu Barr. Vera Ndanusa on her highly eventful two years in office.
Speaking in a goodwill message signed by the President, Chief Eric Ilechukwu (Akunwafor-Anyirico) and made available to Business Hilights, APT said “Madam, we are happy to experience strategic development changes since you came in last two years due to reforms and policy initiatives you have introduced for the progress of our businesses.
“For some of our young (Umu Boi) Apprentices who have been looking for shops since they were freed and settled by their masters, you came and raised their hopes by allocating new plots for us to develop and give out shops to those that don’t have so that our businesses will continue to grow and expand. Thank you very much for that vision.
“Otherwise, your administration has opened up more space for developments in the complex to the advantages of everyone.
“APT stands by you in the ongoing crisis with the Lagos State Government and pray that God will in his infinite mercy, grant you strength and wisdom to meet with both the federal and state government on the matter for a lasting resolution very soon.
“We know that you have been trying your very best in making sure that ease of doing business is working in the complex since your appointment. May we draw your attention to the need for a holistic cleansing of all drainage channels in the complex so as to reduce the incessant cases of flooding which always spoil our goods every time there is flash flooding.
“Added to the flooding issue, while we hail your momentary palliatives on the ring-road, we once again, call on you as you begin your third year in office to come up with a plan for the total reconstruction of the ring-road once and for all to end the daily traffic logjam we experience in the complex.
“On the fast approaching 2025 Lagos International Trade Fair which is to start from 24th of this month to 2nd of November, we want to assure you of our support as usual.
“Once more, we the executives and members of Association of Progressive Traders (APT) rejoice with you on your successful second year in office as the ED/CEO of the complex and pray that your third year in office will be more eventful in Jesus name, Amen.
