Music legend, Victor Uwaifo in his Benin Museum
In Benin City, the same town where he was born and raised, Victor Uwaifo, the Guitar Boy, built a unique private museum and cultural complex from the ground up. It houses hundreds of his artworks, including life-sized sculptures, paintings, custom-made guitars, awards, and stage equipment — all created or collected by the man himself.
But perhaps the most iconic part of his home is the “Airplane House” — yes, a real building shaped like an aircraft, sitting dramatically on his property.
