Gov. Alex Otti of Abia State
Leading public affairs analyst and Professor of Geographic Information System and Spatial Modeling, Prof Joshua Uzoma Ogbonna, who currently doubles as the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration) of Abia State University, Uturu, has hailed the infrastructural development intelligence of the State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti regarding the recent completion of Port Harcourt Highway by the State Government.
In a strategic letter of appreciation to the governor, sighted by Business Hilights South East Bureau Chief in Umuahia, the University Don wrote as follows;
“His Excellency, Dr Alex Otti, OFR
Executive Governor of Abia State
Your Excellency,
“RE: APPRECIATION ON THE COMPLETION AND HANDING OVER OF PORT
HARCOURT ROAD
“On behalf of a grateful constituency and in recognition of your unwavering commitment to the infrastructural transformation of Abia State, we Ndi Ngwa extend our heartfelt congratulations and deepest appreciation for the monumental completion and handover of the Port Harcourt Road project—an iconic milestone and a powerful symbol of purposeful leadership.

After more than three decades of neglect, your administration has not only revived but successfully delivered this critical artery through the hands of a reputable contractor, Julius Berger. This achievement speaks volumes about your vision, dedication, and results-driven governance, which have begun to restore hope and pride to Abians throughout the state and beyond.
“This road is more than a physical connection—it is a pathway to economic revitalization, social progress, and renewed confidence in public administration.
“Your inert positive thought of Aba in particular lacks human classification, for us, only the spirit can. Is it about Enyimba Hotel or Abia Airport, or innumerable road constructions scattered all over the State, or is it human capital development or your inroad to Abia State University? Only the Spirit can assess.
“Jisie ike Nnuuuu.
“Your Excellency, thank you for your tenacity and for placing the welfare of Abians at the centre of your development agenda.
“As history records this transformative moment, we join voices with many across the state in celebrating your leadership and in praying for continued wisdom, strength, and success in your mission to rebuild and reposition Abia State for greatness.
Congratulations, Your Excellency. Thank you for delivering on your promise.
“With profound respect and admiration,
Prof. Joshua U. Ogbonna
