Late Barr. Rolex Iloakasia
The leadership of Aguleri Welfare Association (AWA), Lagos Branch has called for justice in the gruesome killing of the community union’s President General, late Barr. Rolex Iloakasia, who was gunned down by assassins in his car while returning from a High Court in Anambra State on 15th of May, 2025.
In a terse statement signed by the President of AWA, Lagos Branch, Chief Dr. Anthony Amaechi Okeke (Ezekweche Aguleri) and made available to Business Hilights in Lagos, AWA called for calm in the community while proper investigations are going on.
“We call on the Governor Chkwuma Soludo to activate all necessary channels of investigations to track down the perpetrators in record time so as to serve the needed justice in time for our community and the state in general.
“Barr. Rolex Iloakasia remains a symbol of community and inter-community peace and development. His leadership as PG in Aguleri was exemplary, developmental and very progressive as he brought back peace and massive development. He visited our branch here in Lagos in April to showcase his community and inter-community developmental strides which we all appreciated.
“We remain in shocks hearing about his murder and that is why we seek justice for his death.
Chief Dr. Okeke called on all Aguleri citizens home and abroad to rise up to this challenge in securing justice for our slain brother, developer and President general of AWA.
