Some of the delivered CNG buses for Enugu State mass transit scheme
Seamless commuter transportation is coming the way of Enugu residents as the State Government has taken delivery of 200 out of the original 1,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses ordered from Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM).
With the delivery alone, more jobs have emerged as the 200 buses means 400 drivers, since they’ll be running 24/7.
It also means 400 conductors.
Just from the buses alone, over 1,000 Enugu indigenes will be taken off the streets and given a source of livelihood.
1,000+ jobs created.
The entire terminal network in Enugu is capable of employing over 2,000 people in Enugu, do you know what that means for the labour market?
This isn’t just about easing transportation it’s also a major employment opportunity for the people of Enugu.
