AfDB, Ethiopian Airline in $7.8bn Funding Deal for Africa Biggest Airport

Africa’s biggest airport will be built in Ethiopia and it is coming on the massive funding from AfDB.

Already, the Ethiopian Airlines and the African Development Bank has signed a $7.8 billion funding deal.

The new Bishoftu International Airport will boost Ethiopia’s annual passenger capacity from 17 million to over 60 million by 2040.
