Gov. Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State
The Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo has launched the Anambra Geographic Information Service (ANAMGIS), a significant milestone in the state’s efforts to modernise land administration.
Details from a statement from the State Government showed that ANAMGIS provides an automated land authentication and certification system, making it easier for the people of Anambra to access land services.
This milestone signposts Governor Soludo’s pragmatic approach to innovation in his laudable performance in governance and ongoing infrastructural and transformation agenda in making Anambra a destination for the benefits of the people.
In a statement by the State’s Commissioner for Information, Law Mefor, the Anambra State Executive Council (ANSEC) commended Governor Soludo’s launch of ANAMGIS, and his award as the Sun Newspaper’s Governor of the Year, which was dedicated to the Solution Team (ANSEC), stakeholders, and the people of Anambra State.
