Ethiope River in Delta State
This is river Ethiope located in Delta State Nigeria, It is considered to be the cleanest and Clearest River in the whole of Nigeria.
It is the deepest inland waterway in Africa.
To many people, the River is sacred and considered to be a living entity by many locals.
It is formed in contrast to other rivers at the foot of a giant silk cotton tree in Ummaja, Ukuwani LGA, Delta State and flows into Sapele,and then Abraka.
It has become like a cave enough to accommodate ocean-going vessels.
Fish swim enthusiastically in the water, but as soon as they feel the presence of humans, they go out of reach.
