More organizational details have emerged on the planned turbanning of the Chief Imam of the Lagos International Trade Fair Mosque, Imam Suleiman Olarewaju. He will be turbaned alongside other chiefs in the complex.
The high point of event, which is coming up on Saturday February 8, 2025, at the ATV Square, will be the honouring of strategic personalities who have distinguished themselves in the progress and development of the entire trade Fair complex.
Giving further insights in an interview with Business Hilights in his office on Wednesday, the President of the Nigerian Association of Tyre Marketers (NATM), owners of Africa Tyre Village (ATV), Alhaji Isah Akanbi Mohammed, gave the names of awardees to include the ED/CEO of the complex, Dr. Barr Vera Ndanusa, Chairman of the Association of Trade Fair Stakeholders (ATFS) who doubles as the President of Association of Progressive traders (APT), Chief Eric Ilechukwu (Akunwafor-Anyirico) and others.
According to him, the organizing committee have been meeting and briefing me on their progress and am happy with their plans so far.
“You know, am like the father of the association. I support Christian activities and I also support Muslim activities.
“I have sent invitations to all key stakeholders for the event and we are getting ready. We are also expecting the Oniba of Iba Kingdom as the royal father of the day. It’s going to be a memorable event and celebration by God’s Grace,”Alhjai Mohammed added.
