Executive members of ASPMDA led by the President, Hon. Ngozi Emechebe chatting with Oba-Elect of Abule-Ado, Alhaji Ttaiwo Hassan Taslim during the ministry of Physical Planning tour of the abandoned Oteyi-Iyana School Bus Stop road, (at the back of trade fair complex)
The Oba-Elect of Abule-Ado, Alhaji Taiwo Taslim Hassan has thrown his weight behind every effort being made by the President of Auto Spare Parts and Machinery Dealers Association (ASPMDA), Hon. Ngozi Emechebe to encourage the Lagos State Government to construct the Abule Ado to Iyana School Bus Stop and the Festac 2nd Avenue link Road from Alakija Junction to St. Joseph Cath. Church Junction along Abule- Ado road.
Speaking in an interview with Business Hilights during a road assessment tour by officials of the Lagos State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development for the construction of the mentioned roads, he said “As a community leader here in Abule-Ado, as soon as the road construction work is about to start, I will mobilize our people to support the project”.
“The project is for the god of our community and we are happy that the working Governor is now ready for us and we are ready for him also.
“Let me tell you. These two roads are very important to my community and not only those in the Trade fair complex. Apart from easy traffic by my people, the value of our properties and land will appreciate very well and that is to our advantage here.
“We will guide the project. We will protect the project and we will maintain the roads for the community.
“In fact, we thank ASPMDA and the President, Hon. Emechebe, who is my very good friend for working for the construction of these two roads. You see, he don’t even have property along that axis but he is fighting for the road to be done by the governor. That is leadership. By the grace of God, the working governor will do it for us all”, Oba-Elect Hassan of Abule-Ado noted.
