Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment
Whereas official silence overshadowed the needed explanations on why some ministers were just redeployed, more facts have emerged on why Doris Uzoka-Anite is no more the Minister of Industry.
Sources at the Ministry say the new minister; Dr. Jumoke Oduwole was formally Special Adviser to the President on PEBEC & Investment (OVP) since last year Sept. 2023 to date and has been tested as a real technocrat to drive the ministry faster.
The source further revealed that there are chances and strong speculations that the new minister may advise President Bola Tinubu to carry out some changes in the removal and appointments of some non-performing Departments and Agencies under the ministry as soon as possible.
Though the source was silent in mentioning some of the Departments and Agencies, industry observers are not very happy on the dullness in some strategic Departments and Agencies of the Ministry.
