Former USA President, Jimmy Carter, full name James Earl Carter Jr., was born October 1, 1924. The 39th President of USA is 100 years old today. The preacher man served as the 39th president of the United States from 1977 to 1981. Just a term.
Earlier, he was the 76th governor of Georgia from 1971 to 1975, and a Georgia state senator from 1963 to 1967.
Today he has made history as the longest-lived president in U.S. and the first president to live to 100 years of age.
Recall that he visited Nigeria during President Obasanjo’s reign as military head of state. He also instituted the programme that led to the eradication of Guinea warm not just in Nigeria but around the world.
Good Christian man who was still going to preach at Sunday school every Sunday. Since his wife Rosalynn died last year, his public appearance has been severely impacted. The toll of losing his soulmate since 1946 has become visible.
