It was unprecedented excitement when the visiting members of the Federal House of Representatives Committee on Commerce announced the availability of a N250bn business loan facility domiciled at the Bank of Industry (BoI), is ready for instant access by genuine business owners in the complex.
Addressing the business community at the Lagos International Trade Fair complex during their oversight function tour of the complex on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, the chairman of the House Committee, Hon. Ahmed Munir revealed “there is a business loan scheme currently ready for access by business owners including all of you at the complex to access at a one digit interest rate at the Bank of Industry (BoI).
“I would advise all of you to access it to grow your businesses. It is there and processes for access are very seamless and not difficult so far you are ready for business growth and expansion.
One person is entitled to apply for the loan from about N500,000 to a billion naira to grow your business and create more employment for Nigerians.
Continuing, Hon. Munir advised interested business operators in the complex to work with the Executive Director and CEO of the Lagos International Trade Fair Complex management Board (LITFCMB), Barr Vera Ndanusa while applying and processing their loans for easy access.
Many of the business owners at the complex who spoke with Business Hilights expressed relief with the good news, saying they never knew about the facility until today they heard it from the national Assembly members on oversight function tour.
