…As Dangote, Coscharis Lead Partners to November fair
The leadership of Lagos International Trade Fair Complex Management Board (LITFCMB) Tuesday unveiled the logo of the emerging 2024 Trade Fair (Commercial And Industrial Trade Fair 2024) #CITF2024; which is coming after 14 years of inactivity at Eko Hotels and Suites.
Speaking to Business Hilights after the exciting unveiling, the Executive Director and CEO of the complex, Barr. Vera Ndanusa explained that “We are repackaging the fair to be the best for both the formal and informal sector as we have structured the November Fair to serve as a meeting point for both the formal and informal sector players in the Nigerian economy with a strategic colouration that will blend it with the participation of international exhibitors.
“We are therefore calling on the leading formal sector players including the banking giants, telecom investors, insurance firms, manufacturers and all key operators in the service sector to come and partner with us in our efforts to grow the economy.
According to her, “The approved terms and conditions for both participation and partnership are very seamless and attractive as we have made it very easy in order to accommodate every major player in the Nigerian economy.
Explaining more, Barr. Ndanusa rolled out the rationale behind the 2024 Fair to include driving Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr. President, strengthening local and international relationships, boosting brand awareness for businesses, attract foreign investors and facilitate technology and knowledge transfer.
On the benefits, she said the Fair will among other things, grow revenue generation for the government, foster infrastructure development, job creation, boost tourism, raise brand visibility, trade agreements possibilities and networking/collaboration possibilities.
Whereas the theme of the Fair is ‘Strengthening Nigeria’s Commercial and Industrial Sectors Through Trade and Investment, the Management Board is partnering T-Math Limited to deliver the fair.
Already, key leading formal sector players in the Nigerian economy including Dangote Group and Coscharis Group have keyed into the 2024 Lagos International Trade Fair tagged; Commercial and Industrial Trade Fair 2024 billed for November 15th to 26th.
Among top dignitaries at the event include the Lagos State Governor, ably represented by the Secretary to the Government, Barr. Mrs. Abimbola Hundeyin, some members of the National Assembly including House Committee Chairman on Commerce, Hon. Ahmed Munir, Hon David and Senator Peter Jiya.
Other top officials at the event are representative of the DG of SON in the person of Dr. Simon Omo-Ezomo, and Amb. Jerry Ugokwe, who presented the Keynote address virtually and the representative of the Minister of of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite.
