Following his recent unveiling as the Coordinator of Ikemba Front, Lagos State Chapter, Chief Dr. Anthony Okeke (Ezekweche Aguleri) has called on all Anambrarians in Lagos to work together for the success of the Senator Ifeanyi Patrick Ubah as the next governor of the state.
Ikemba Front is a political mobilization group for Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s guber success come next year in Anambra State.
Speaking in Lagos with some journalists in his house on Sunday, the immediate former President of Mandilas United Traders’ Association, owners of Mandilas International Trade Centre (MITC), Lagos Trade Fair complex said “Our Principal, Senator Ubah has shown and demonstrated huge governance capacity over and over and this is time to bring him into the governance of Anambra State for the good of the state.
“Today as am talking to all of you here in Lagos, he has wired the entire Anambra South with CCTV and a control room to improve on the security of the zone and he plans to do same to other zones as soon as he is elected governor to end permanently, the cases of insecurity in Anambra State.
“Aside the CCTV, there is streetlights, he has been empowering youths across the state and beyond; giving new lease of life to people in need.
According to him, “We at Ikemba Front which am the coordinator in Lagos are encouraging all Anambraians in Lagos be begin to talk to their relations of voting age at home to know that the better future of our state is best at the hands of Senator Ubah.
“Why we are driving the campaign from Lagos is because majority of South East people in Lagos have a deciding influence over their family members in at home. In fact, our relations at home call on us in Lagos in times of election for ideas.
“We at Ikemba Front have tested Senator Ubah over and over and found out that he has the capacity to deliver the Anambra State of our dream come next year.
“All our Ikemba Front members are everywhere in Lagos and we are mobilizing heavily ahead of March 2025 guber election at home with the sole target of electing Senator Ubah as the governor.
Chief Dr. Okeke, who was the former coordinator of Soludo Support Group in Lagos explained that he dumped Soludo because he has not been able to deliver the needed dividends of democracy to Anambra people, adding that Senator Ubah, though not yet a governor, is more in the heart of people due to his track record of development projects and evidences of magnanimity in the state and beyond.
While thanking Ikemba Front National Coordinator, Hon. Arinzechukwu Awogu (Omekaodinma) for the trust he has on him, Chief Dr. Okeke, the General Secretary of Ndigboamaka Progressive Markets Association, an umbrella body of all major markets in Lagos State, assured that both at home and in Lagos, the needed support for Senator Ubah is growing very well and Anambra indigenes and non-indigenes living in Anambra State have realized that Senator Ubah is the current best candidate for Government House in Awka come next year.
Chief Dr. Okeke who also doubles as the coordinator of Ikemba Front in Anambra East and West, averred that he has already collapsed his Ezekweche Vanguard into Ikemba Front in Anambra State for the success of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah in 2025.
Findings show that Ezekweche Vanguard remains the most dominant political group in key councils of the state made up of market women and youths.
He further noted that due to pressure from many who want to join Ikemba Front in Lagos, he is ready to welcome more supporters for Ubah as the build up for the election continues.
