The First Canopy Walkway in South East Nigeria is coming to Enugu State. The Honorable Commissioner of Tourism Dame Ugochi Madueke led a team of Engineers, Builders and Consultants on reconnaissance Trips round the identified Locations. Many Community engagements with Stakeholders were held to prepare them for the Coming projects.
Enugu State is Focused on attracting 3 million Visitors a year. They are Modernising the whole Transport System with new Hubs and Terminals. They are upgrading the Airport . New Tourism Facilities,Hotels and Rides are being built all over the place.
Canopy walkways and Zip lines will add some Value to the Attractions. I actually visited the Tallest point in Enugu State. We measured Okpatu Hill to be 588M High. Something great is coming up there soon.
The Governor is bringing all these Elements together to create a destination of Choice for Travellers. In Enugu the Mantra is “Tomorrow is here”
