The business intelligence in Igbos which analysts say remains to be matched, has played out again following the fame garnered by formally unknown Labour Party (LP) after the 2023 election.
This time, an Igbo investor (name withheld) has cashed in on the soaring popularity of peter Obi’s Labour Party (LP) which a comedian, #Steve Muoka popularized by calling it ‘Ellu P’ in a skit which fetched him thousands of naira to set up a soft drink outfit.
Or better put, Ellu P, caught the attention of Nigerians after a video surfaced of a man named Stephen Muoka comically counting Labour Party (LP) votes during the presidential election as ‘Ellu P’Already, there is a viral commercial video showing three varieties of Ellu P drinks – 74, 75, and 76.
The Ellu P 74 drink featured in the advert is made with orange, while the Ellu P 75 contains strawberry and Tthe Ellu P 76 is made with apple.
