The Dangote Industries Limited has distanced itself from a viral Twitter handle (@whitenigeia) purporting the commissioning date of the upcoming 650,000bpd petroleum refinery in Lekki to be on January 24.
The company described the well-circulated posts as fake.
The post was first shared by a Twitter user simply identified as Mohammed Jammal with the handle @whitenigeia on Friday and the post which trended for many hours on the bird apps also attracts comments from other users.
A screenshot sent to Business Hilights on Saturday by Dangote Industries, showed the fake post.
