It was pump and congratulation galore as immediate former Director General of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), Is’haq Moddibo Kawu successfully defended his PhD thesis titled “Farmer-Herder Conflicts and National Security in Nigeria: An Analysis of Reportage by Nigerian Press 2010-2019.“ The oral defence took place at the Conference Room of NDA Postgraduate School.
The External Examiner, Prof Adam Anyebe of ABU expressed profound confidence with the quality of the work.
Members of the Defence Panel ~ Prof UA Tar, Prof DO Alabi, Prof IO Mbachu, Prof BE Mijah, Dr BE Bature (HOD, PS), Dr I Braji, Dr SM Lawal, Dr.BD Ekpoh, Col Dr AJ Oluwadare (Rtd), and Dt UA Lamido (Rep PG School) and Dr AG Atelhe ~ endorsed the credibility, originality and authenticity of the work.
The thesis work emerged with 29 discoveries, 6 solid recommendations and 5 areas of further study.
