The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajude Sanwo-Olu, Tuesday expressed delight on the courtesy visit paid to him by the executives of leading Telecom Company in Nigeria, MTN Group.
Expressing his feelings in a chat, he said “I received the MTN Board and management team led by Group Board Chairman, Mcebisi Jonas and Group Chief Executive Officer, Ralph Mupita who were accompanied by MTN Nigeria Chairman, Ernest Ndukwe and Chief Executive Officer in Nigeria, Karl Toriola during a courtesy visit today.
MTN has been a good corporate citizen since it commenced business in Nigeria and has discharged its responsibilities by enabling productivity and catalyzing economic growth through job creation, taxes and creating social projects in education & healthcare through MTN Foundation.
According to the elated Governor, “It was a pleasure to receive the management team today. We had a robust engagement on areas we can work together and I assured the team that we will continue to make Lagos attractive to investors as we work further to deepen the ease of doing business in our state.”
