The PDP flag bearer for Isiala Ngwa North and South Federal Constituency, Prof. A.C.B Agbazuere has called on the people of the constituency to obtain their permanent voter cards to enable them exercise their franchise at the polls.
Prof Agbazuere who made the call during an extra ordinary meeting of Oweh Structure held at the Victory Garden, opposite Villa of Destiny, Okpuala Ikem Nvosi in Isiala Ngwa South LGA, stressed the need for them to get enrolled in the ongoing INEC voter registration excercise across the state.
The International and Constitutional Human Rights Lawyer while noting that the PDP remains the political party to beat, further used the medium to formally inform members of the group on his successful emergence as the PDP flag bearer for Isiala Ngwa North and South Federal Constituency during the party’s primaries held last month in the state.
He further commended them for their resilient, doggedness and sustained support towards his political aspirations and the state government, urging them to remain resolute in their faith in the Dr Okezie Ikpeazu led administration in the state.
Also speaking, the Chairman of Isiala Ngwa South LGA, Chief Ike Anyatonwu described Prof. A.C.B Agbazuere as a true and worthy son of Ngwaland, who has distinguished himself both in academics and politics.
In their separate speeches, the PDP flag bearer for Isiala Ngwa South State Constituency, Chief Rowland Ceaser, the State Coordinator of Oweh Structure, Chief Donatus Orji, the DG, Oweh Campaign Organization, Sir David Esindu, Nze Joe Nwogu among others while reaffirming their unalloyed support to the PDP, described Prof. Agbazuere as one that has the requisite experience, charisma and qualities of a leader.
The meeting which attracted notable personalities featured the acceptance of over 300 decampees from the APC back to the PDP by Chief Ike Anyatonwu.
