Lagos Trade Fair Stakeholders’ donate vehicle to Police Command

The Lagos Trade Fair Stakeholders’ Association (LTFSA), Tuesday handed over a brand new Sienna-LE to the Trade Fair Police Command under the District Police Officership (DPO) of Mrs. Lamina Tolani.
Business Hilights recalls that LTFSA comprises of 61 investment groups and individuals who secured valid development lease agreements with the Federal Government at the Trade Fair complex.
Presenting the car keys and documents, chairman of the stakeholders and current President of Association of Progressive Traders (APT), Chief Eric Ifeanyi Ilechukwu averred that the idea to raise fund and make the donation is to show passion for the way and manner the Command under the leadership of Mrs. Tolani has partnered the stakeholders in maintaining security and safety of lives and investments of our members in the complex.
He added that “We hope that with the donation, the Command will raise their game in maintaining peace and security in the complex.”

Responding, the DPO, Mrs Tolani thanked the stakeholders and assured that her leadership will do more in maintaining peace and prompt response to emergencies in the complex. She further prayed God to continue to guide the stakeholders and their members in all their endeavours in the massive complex.
She disclosed that she is driving the vehicle straight to the Police Headquarters, Ikeja to show to her boss what the Trade Fair stakeholders had done to her leadership.
In an interview shortly after the car presentation, former ASPMDA President, Chief Daniel Offorkansi said “We decided to support the command because, it has done well in securing the complex and attending to our distress calls from time to time.”
Also speaking, the Financial Secretary of the Stakeholders, Hon. Ositadinma Ekpunobi, said “It was our corrective wish to always support the Police Command due to the way and manner the Command had cooperated with the stakeholders association in handling emergencies.”

In his remarks, High Chief Chukwunonso Okafor averred that “We are supporting the Police because we know that only themselves cannot do it alone in providing all they need in the line of duty. Stakeholders will continue to support the Command from time to time as resources can allow us because we are partners in progress.”
Explaining more on the donation to the Police Command, President of Africa Tyre Village (ATV), Alhaji Issah Mohammed noted that “The Trade Fair Police Command had been the bedrock of Trade Fair security architecture. The officers and men of the Command had always responded swiftly whenever we send a distress call on ugly developments within the complex.”
