Ahead of possible national apology to Nigerian youths by President Muhammadu Buhari who returned weekend from London after attending to CHOGM 2018 Heads of Government meeting, the senator representing Katsina South, Abu Ibrahim, weekend gave an indication that the President Buhari Support Group would be inaugurating its offices in three of the six states in the South-South today, Monday.
He revealed that the inauguration would kick-start Buhari’s re-election process ahead of INEC’s removal of embargo on 2019 campaign
Explaining more in an interview with the State House correspondents at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, he noted that campaign buses would also be inaugurated on the same day.
It was not clear of the Support Group will start their activities with an apology to Nigerian youths on behalf of the President over his remarks against Nigerians Youths.
President Buhari had apparently portrayed the Nigerian youths as lazy while addressing the Commonwealth Business Forum in Westminster last week Wednesday, saying “More than 60 percent of the population is below 30, a lot of them haven’t been to school and they are claiming that Nigeria is an oil producing country, therefore, they should sit and do nothing, and get housing, healthcare, education free”.
