Latest in the row is Alhaji Aminu Babangida, one of the sons of the former Head of State and Military President, Gen. Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (rtd). He has been named the new chairman of Unity Bank, having been appointed into the board of Unity Bank in 2011.

Industry analysts say by his appointment at 41, Babangida has emerged the youngest bank chairman in the country.

Besides, his experience spanned across oil and gas having been the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Phoenix Energy, and head of many other business interests inked to his father.

Also, his vast experience as a businessman and manager, he has also worked on the trading floor of Trafigura BV, London, UK.

Further investigations showed that the current youngest bank boss attended Regents Business School where he obtained a BA in International Business and Westminster Business School in London where he got MA in International Business Management.
